From May this year Volvo will update its V40 model, equipping the premium Swedish hatchback with its range of high-efficiency Drive-E engines and Volvo’s latest eight-speed automatic gearbox. This means the revised V40 line-up now offers an impressive performance to efficiency ratio, with 190hp on offer in the D4 turbodiesel variant, returning a claimed 74.3mpg combined with 99g/km CO2 when mated to the six-speed manual. Nissan and the makers of the Gran Turismo game have unveiled the new Concept 2020 Vision Gran Turismo virtual supercar. It's a 2+2 sports car to celebrate the 15th anniversary of the Gran Turismo driving franchise and is said to explore radical new aerodynamics which could shape future Nissan sports cars. A host of manufacturers are designing futuristic sports cars for the driving game and the new Nissan is suitably advanced.
BMW X4 - production to start in the US in 2013
